As Seikosha ceased to produce shutters, the follow up of the Unirex EE became a focal plain shutter SRL. It appeared on the market next to the Topcon Super Dm in 1973 and was produced in two versions as form 1976 the NEW IC-1 appeared on the market. It is doubtfull whether this camera is a fully Topcon produced and assembled product. Of all Topcon it features the most electronic functions, its shutterspeeds only function when the camera is powered on. Being a focal plain shutter it kept however the UV Topcor mount. With the IC one a new series of standard lenses where made the HI Topcor lenses, and the UV Topcor series was added a zoom lens.
